Greetings petition signers, The village has released a brief update informing residents of their response to the petition. This update is linked at the bottom of the page. We would like to thank the village for acknowledging the petition, our efforts, and using our feedback and concerns to help them determine the best steps to take going forward. The village wants to make clear that if the proposal proceeds and is considered, there would be a mandatory public hearing for property rezoning. The village has not scheduled any further action on the proposal at this time. We created the petition in the first place because we felt that there were concerns that were not raised at the initial proposal meeting and wanted to ensure that these concerns were raised and considered. The well-executed press release from the village has led us to feel that Chris and Todd are doing an excellent job running our community.
