Wattpad.com is one of the most active reading and writing websites on the internet, and since its beginning, many users have wanted to meet fellow readers and writers from the site, but there has been no common meeting place for them to do so.

So, this is why I propose that Wattpad start a WattCon. Like MineCon or VidCon, WattCon would be a meeting place for thousands of readers and writers on the website of Wattpad to converse. It would be a fun, and efficient way for people to meet their favorite authors and fellow readers/writers over the spanse of a few days, or even a week.

A few suggested features WattCon could have are:

 - Stands for Wattpad's most popular members and ambassadors to meet their fans.

 - A costume competition where people could come dressed up as some of their favorite Wattpad book characters and compete to win a small prize of some sort.

 - A small admission fee (5-10 U.S. dollars, or the going rate for the area) for a full-admission bracelet or ticket that they could use to get in and out of the convention through the set dates the convention would be held on. All of the proceeds would go to sponsoring the convention or supporting the upkeep of the website Wattpad.

All in all, the idea of WattCon has the potentional to be a wonderful social event for the online writing community, all it needs is the chance to prove it.
