Ladies and Gentlemen.

Im creating this petition to hopefully help and start the change to lower the curve that we're seeing of this virus. Here in Waterloo Iowa we are seeing a sharp incline of this virus. That is due to the new testing at the Tyson plant . This is something that could have been prevented by our higher government and Tyson them selves. But unfortunately our governor is saying she can not shut them down because they're essential to our hog farmers and to supply food to our stores. Personally i can say that yes our stores and prices will suffer from it and that our farmers will suffer extremely from it financially. But for the safety of our community, i am starting this petition to close the Waterloo Tyson/KPR plant for at least a week to help get this virus under control. I implore you to sign this petition and hopefully after enough outreach from our communities they will listen
