Water taxi to Pleasure Beach

 

We were asking to add additional days for the water taxi to transport to Pleasure Beach we received a response however it was not in favor of adding days.It has been said that there weren't many people attending the beach, however whenever the water taxi was going daily, I noticed it was a good amount of people that would enjoy Pleasure Beach

The response to the request was on this wise.

“Due to lack of visitors visiting Pleasure Beach during the week the decision was made to only to run Water Taxi service on Weekends and Holidays only. Public Facilities can revisit this request and determine if it make economic sense to open in the future if there is a large interest in visiting this beautiful waterfront. Advertising and Parking may spark more interest in the future! 

 

This petition is hereby submitted in order to again request additional days for the water taxi to transport individuals to the Pleasure Beach.  We’ve tried to outline the reasons why and hopefully will be heard. Former letter requesting additional days is attached.

 

There have been so many people who have enjoyed the Pleasure Beach area prior to Covid. The taxi was running daily and we would love to see it return to daily running. Please sign this petition if you have enjoyed and do plan to enjoy visiting the beach on a daily basis. 

 

This beach has so much to offer along with Fishing sunbathing playtime for children, relaxing, etc.
