It paved the way for others and showed the true beauty of stainless steel compared to the popular gold. Haute Horology has lost the most sought after timepiece to this date. Some even speculate that waitlists for 5711 are a decade long. After Patek Phillipe announced that they will no longer produce the blue and stainless steel variant of the watch, the horological community mourned the loss of their beloved.
