According to the Wall Street Journal, Waste Management will be switching from diesel to shale gas for the trucks that they will be purchasing over the next 5 years. Please sign this petition to demand that they choose Bio-Diesel. The ecological impact of this decision is far more important than any other factor. Fracking is a commonly used drilling method in Shale oil production. Fracking operations use highly toxic chemicals that pollute soil and water forever.



Waste Management claims that they are committed to environmental protection and sustainability. Bio-Diesel has measurably less long term environmental effects than Shale oil. Demand that Waste Management live up to those claims and make the move to a more environmentally sustainable fuel.
