On Tuesday March 14th, Waste Management Inc won a 20-year garbage disposal contract to dump Milpitas rubbish to Guadalupe landfill, San Jose. This will damage the environment of the south silicon valley badly, including south San Jose, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cambrian Park, and Campbell, even Evergreen, etc.

We strongly oppose to dump garbage to Guadalupe Landfill! We strongly oppose to dump garbage to highly populated area! The silicon valley is becoming the stinky valley, from north to south. 

With this contract, and potentially more to come in the near future, will change Almaden and surrounding area into another Milpitas!

Republic Service‘s long term contract with San Jose will end in 2020; contract with Cupertino will end in 2023; contract with Santa Clara will end in 2024; contract with Los Altos Hills will end before 2023!

Waste Management makes some money; but who will take care of our air, our water, our roads, our schools, our living environment?
