Traci Davis has continued to demonstrate disregard for the public and for how we feel about her job performance. She conducted a series of interviews yesterday, March 4, in which she condescended to journalists for asking questions, condescended to citizens’ for petitioning her resignation, and displayed a self-righteous indignation. Her behavior was metaphorically demonstrative of her entire term as Superintendent.
Traci Davis’ attitude is atrocious. For the second time, we are asking her to reflect on the manner in which she conducts herself. We urge Ms. Davis to watch her interview with Mr. Hart through an objective lens and see herself. There is no question to be left about why teachers and staff are afraid for their jobs if they voice concerns within the district. She has created a culture that forces teachers and staff to walk on egg shells. While a portion of her job entails overseeing 64,000 students, a statement she uses to deflect accountability and her responsibility to the public discourse, her main role, is to support the 3,500 teachers who are doing the work on the ground that nurtures those 64,000.
Our page is yet small in number, so we need each and every one of you. If you’re out there reading and you would be willing to take this petition off the internet and on to the ground...
