The current administration in Washington DC which includes the president, the senate, the house of representatives and a lack of constitutional support from our judicial courts including the Supreme Court can NOT be trusted to uphold our constitutional rights.

The 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th are all under a major assault and in danger of being completely stripped away.

This petition is to inform our Washoe County Commissioners that We The People want them to resolve that Washoe County NV is a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary county and that the federal attempted overreach will not be accepted in THIS county.

The counties of Douglas, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lincoln, Lyon, Nye, Pershing and White Pine have already passed resolutions to be 2nd Amendment sanctuary counties.

The 2nd Amendment was written to put the government on notice that it is a God-given right to protect ourselves from a government run amok. The federal government DOES NOT have the right to confiscate your guns, ammo, nor limit your attainment of these items.

We The People take a stand and are drawing the line to ensure the federal government does NOT encroach on this right.

We The People are demanding that Chairman Bob Lucey put on the agenda an item to discuss making Washoe County a 2nd Amendment sanctuary county, then put on the agenda to vote to pass a resolution to make Washoe County a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County and join the 10 other Nevada counties that have already done so.
