As many poles are showing among the Washington football fans that a stunning percentage of us are completely unmoved by the new name,  I'm trying to give us fans an actual voice.  Most of us do not want this as the name.  It's dry,  generic and bland.  Mostly it does not speak to the people that have been loyal fans for years.  Making it almost impossible to get behind the team we've loved all of our lives for some of us.  The lie that our opinions were taken into account was just that, a lie.  I see a lot of fans giving up and leaving the team,  and while I've also thought about it myself,  I love my team too much to just give up.  Please sign this petition.  Give us a voice.  Let them see how unhappy the fan base is with this awful rebrand. Maybe at the very least we can just go back to Washington Football team.  It's far better then what we got.  To the front office in Washington- you disregarded our opinions and did what you wanted.  This is our voice,  let it be heard as the last ditch effort to save the team we love.  We want respect, we want loyalty from the team we've bled for and spent money on to pad your pockets, we want a REAL NAME!  Something that doesn't sound dumb AF when you say it out loud.  We want something that resonates with us the way The Washington Redskins resonated in our hearts.  We want justice for this horrendous atrocity.  We want our team back.
