At the beginning of November a large group of travelers descended upon our church for a wedding. Many people are aware they enjoy their celebrations and don't always follow rules. 
This was one of those times, and our priest is being held responsible for their actions and being charged for braking covid rules. This should not be happening as even the police at times are unable to control situations involving them, so how can one good hearted man do so by himself???? 
He has taken great steps to ensure the safety of people when going to mass so why would he break the rules now and put so many people in harms way?? (This above all upsets him the most).The ability to provide a safe environment was taken out of his hands by the wedding party and he should not be held accountable for it.
please help us to have these charges dropped against someone that had no power over the situation and that the people responsible for planing and attending the wedding be held accountable for their actions. 
An innocent man should not be made into the scapegoat because he is 'easier' to deal with rather than the true offenders.
