Give 'Krypto the Superdog' a complete series release on DVD
The Issue
Krypto the Superdog is a DC cartoon series about Superman's pet dog Krypto that aired from 2005 to 2006. Despite that short run, it still managed to gain plenty of fans. Two DVDs (which are pictured here) were released in 2006 containing the first ten episodes of Season 1, but fast-forward to over a decade later and the rest of the series still hasn't been released, and Warner Archive have said that there aren't any announcements on if and when it will at this time. This is unfair since other DC shows, including Batman: The Animated Series and even obscure ones like The Zeta Project have received releases, leaving us KTS fans upset and ignored, and things won't get any better it this continues, as we simply cannot stay in the dark forever. The show also deserves a full revival that us fans can happily write.
We understand how busy of a company Warner Bros themselves are, so we don't expect them to take immediate action. But we do expect the show to be fully released in the future. Not to have that happen would be unthinkable. We should be allowed to give them sufficient enough time to make plans for a DVD release and finalise them.
If you wanna contact Warner Archive via DMs or direct tweets to let them know how much we really want the show released, go to their Twitter page: https://twitter.com/WarnerArchive. You can also check out my friend's petition hoping to revive the series for real: https://www.change.org/p/warner-bros-bring-back-krypto-the-superdog
Krypto the Superdog is a true DC TV gem, and it has been forgotten for long enough. It must be fully released on DVD for fans old and new to discover and enjoy.
