The recently released Wonder Woman movie  has quickly become one of the most highly rated and beloved comic book films of all time. It has inspired many and is near perfect in a world where perfect movies are a rarity anymore. With one glaring exception.

Spoilers: Late in the movie, actor David Thewlis is revealed to be Ares, The God of War himself. But instead of striking fear in our hearts and moving us to protect our children due to his menacing nature and evil intent, our instinct is to protect our children from him for other reasons... Under his self-made armour his mouth is visable, including the true-to-the-times moustache that he wears while playing a human earlier. And it just looks goofy and creepy.

Usually we pan directors for messing with their movies after initial release, but this is a case where it would do the movie a great service. Just make the armor cover his upper lip, or digitally remove the moustache in for the blu-ray release. I don't know which would be easier, this is not my department, but I know it should be simple in this day and age.

It may seem like a trite and silly complaint, but I know others who feel the same. Let's make this movie something we can pass down to generations so they can fully enjoy it without being compelled to giggle at the climactic battle at the end of the movie, therefore pulling them out of something that has been a beautiful and inspiring experience for the two hrs leading up to it.
