Riley’s father, Peter Cadherin. He was one of Hector’s finest. ♂️
Though he worked for the HPD, Peter was raised to put the right thing and the safety of others above any rule. Once or twice he violated protocol to do so, resulting in him butting heads at times with Chief Gluteus. However, he was highly respected by his co-workers and those he helped, and revered for his bravery and dedication. He was a white blood cell of the highest degree.
Those close to him knew him as a cell larger than life, and by microscopic standards, that’s pretty bug. He was deeply devoted to his family and protecting Hector.
Though he knows his son has no real interest in being a cop, and often finds him in situations (Mostly harmless/hilarious, rest assured.) that involve the police, such as toilet papering Gluteus’ house or rigging his car radio to play boy band music (Some Gluteus has taken a liking to later!), Peter had done well in teaching him to be responsible and considerate of others, as shown by his son’s bond with his sister Riley.
He was also good friends with Angie’s father, and was there to help him battle against the Roseola Virus. Their daughters became close childhood friends, but a few years later, when Riley was 8, he was lost when Hector received an abrasion when he was first learning to skateboard, along with his wife and son.
He bears a small resemblance to Ozzy, though they aren’t related by cytoplasm. Riley thought the world of her father, and promised herself to care for her aunt and be a pillar of strength for her and herself through the tragedy and beyond.
Character inspiration for Peter is my father, King Frederick from Tangled, Richard Parker and Ben Parker from Spider-Man, James Potter, Bob Parr/Mister Incredible, and Ozzy himself.
Sorry for the sloppy coloring there on his face! Was kinda hectic this morning/debating on his cytoplasm color. Going with blue!
