‘Bout time I drew these two together.
Spryman, upon seeing/meeting Riley at the Metabolica concert, was instantly attracted to her. She was very different from the other girls he’d try to impress. She had something they didn’t.
A little thing called maturity. And also dignity.
This lil’ scene takes place in an episode where he invites her to a yacht party. He tries to engage and appear smooth, but obviously she isn’t interested in his bold advance.
After their exchange, Ozzy and Drix crash the party! Riley hadn’t seen them since the concert over a week ago, and she greets them happily despite Spryman’s annoyance at their unannounced arrival.
Ozzy, knowing how good the mayor was with getting on people’s nerves and being an obnoxious brat, asks her if he’s bothering her. She calmly and sassily responds that it’s a nice party, and for him not to worry:
She says can handle the type of cell who’s most likely to divide with himself.
Spryman becomes quite flustered and put out, and her joke causes Ozzy to laugh heartily in amusement. This kid had spunk!
Sorry Spryman. Gonna have to try harder than that to get with Riles.
