“Riles, when life gives ya mucus, make it into mucinade. That’s what you always do. And I know you’ll find a way to make things work. There’s a lot more inside you than anyone in this whole body can see just by looking at you. Go show ‘em what.”
Finally designed one of Riley’s relatives and probably the closest one to her: Her older brother Brandon Cadherin! His design and personality is based off Sonic the Hedgehog, Danny Fenton, my brother Brogan, and of course Ozzy himself.
Growing up, though his father was a white blood cell, he was rebellious and fun-loving, living as free as the wind in the bowels! He also was flirty once he started to reach puberty, typical of teenage boys. He even hid some DNA magazines under his bed at one point! (Like one or two. His father got rid of those once he found them. Spit! ) He also cracked some jokes that a girl his age would find either annoying, cheesy, or SLIGHTLY inappropriate.
But that didn’t mean he wasn’t responsible either; He was kind, a gentleman when he had to be, and had a wisdom to him that made him more mature and insightful than he usually acted. He loved his mother, and respected and idolized his dad for trying to protect the body properly (Even if it went against Gluteus’ orders, which Brandon admired most!) and help Hector grow like his own two children. He protected and cared for Riley when she was being bullied and needed help with things she couldn’t always do alone.
Because of the love her family had, she was able to overcome those challenges as time went on. He had been her supportive shoulder, her clown when she needed a laugh, and inspired her to be more confident in the face of fear. And in return, she looked to him as a hero and her ‘first guy friend other than dad.’.
At the age of 15, he’d thrown her away from the cut that Hector had received while first learning to skateboard before being sucked out with his parents and relatives, all but Riley and his Aunt Ann, who barely escaped unscathed.
5 years and that memory still haunts poor Riley.
All she has left of him is his guitar, which she plays when she feels lonely or sad.
