Lola bunny was likely a staple of your childhood. She was a staple of mine, and my own children will someday watch this movie. Space Jam was an amazing film that many families and basketball fans bonded over.

Recently the news broke that Lola’s character was “desexualized.” But this was beyond what anyone asked for, or wanted. Although this was done with good intent, I will not be watching the movie unless they fix it. Rather than altering things that we already know and love, I suggest we add more female bunnies to the movie, not change Lola! She could use a team of other girls who are great at basketball. She was beautiful, the ultimate dream girl for Buggs, and a great Halloween costume. Nearly half the plot of the first movie is Buggs pursuing his crush on Lola. They did not have to make her face busted like that... They could have simply put her in a different outfit! 

Similarly to Sonic the Hedgehog, Warner needs to listen to their audience and change what needs to be changed! Or we will not be watching.

I care about this issue greatly... bad bunnies need representation too! Lola is not backstage getting harassed by a pervy producer or dealing with the things women deal with in Hollywood. She’s a fictional character that we love to see on screen and her beauty is not a bad thing. It’s a kids movie, and she’s an animal. If you sexualize her, worry about yo’self.
