It was recently announced that Superman will be making an appearance on the CW show Supergirl but they have yet to find someone to play Clark Kent. As someone who has grown up watching superhero shows, I can think of nobody better to assume this role than Tom Welling, who portrayed Clark Kent/Superman in the CW show Smallville. There have been many iterations of Superman over the years but Welling was one of the only ones to truly embody the heroic nature of Clark Kent while also dealing with the ordinary issues of Clark Kent. I watched Smallville when I was in high school so I could relate to alot of the struggles Clark faced. Getting the girl, being a positve role model, and caring for others were all things I tried to do but never had an example of how to do it. Tom gave me that example. We have already seen Kara struggle between being an "ordinary person" and a superhero so who better to teach her while now on the CW than the man who did it for 10 years on the very same network. #WellingforSupergirl
