Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden have led the heavy metal scene since their debut album in 1980.  Since the beginning the iconic Eddie has been the face of all their album covers.  Each incarnation of Eddie has sparked the imagination of listeners through the years and have transported them through  both bizarre and breathtaking landscapes.

Now, Iron Maiden just released their new video, 'Speed of Light' which has Eddie battling through various video game landscapes one of which is him fighting the Devil in the style of Mortal Kombat, complete with a heart rip fatality!

So why not take this a step further and actually get Eddie into a Mortal Kombat game.  Done correctly Eddie would make a fine addition to the Mortal Kombatroster alongside new members such as Predator and Jason Voorhees.
