Gauntlet Dark Legacy was an arcade cabinet that made its way to home consoles in 2001. Features include single-player or up to 4-player cooperative campaign, and many hours of dungeon crawling hack and slash RPG fun, based on the numerical familiarity of Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder today.

With 4 different cosmetic variations among 8 different playable characters, as well as 8 additional unlockable characters, this game was fantastic for anyone's preferred play style, casual or hardcore alike. The game also featured collectable inventory items, powerups, and stat aids spread over 8 expansive worlds each with their own interactive environments and puzzles for the player to survive and conquer. Colossal epic boss battles await those players who dare challenge the 8 realms, and the gauntlets within!

This game, if remade for modern consoles today, would be a great videogame for avid fans of classic 4-player local couch co-op where teamwork is a must, or for those who enjoy playing casually solo. Either way, an epic adventure with a great overarching story lies to be told for those who had missed this classic game. Playstation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch!
