Domestic abuse affects millions of men world wide every year. WB DC HBO have perpetuated the silencing of men who suffer from domestic violence by supporting a reasonably proven domestic abuser. Amber Heard admitted in court documents that she abused Johnny Depp by psychological violence, recordings of her admitting to hitting, throwing objects, verbally harassing and gaslighting Johnny have been heard around the world. The time has come for the world to take a stand for equal domestic violence awareness. 

According to the CDC in the United States, "Intimate Partner Violence [affects] About 1 in 3 men experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime.
Nearly 56% of men who were victims of contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner first experienced these or other forms of violence by that partner before age 25." https://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/intimatepartnerviolence/men-ipvsvandstalking.html

And in the UK "The Office for National Statistics figures show every year that one in the three victims of domestic abuse are male equating to 757,000 men.." https://www.mankind.org.uk/statistics/statistics-on-male-victims-of-domestic-abuse/

End the double standard! There is still a largely held denial that men can be victims of domestic abuse and WB DC HBO are continuing this dismissive view. If equal awareness for domestic abuse victims has to have a high profile case to garner public acceptance then let it start with Amber and Johnny. Documentation, comfirmed recordings and statements have been made public of Amber violently attacking Johnny, throwing multiple objects and glass bottles at him resulting in the required surgery to repair bone and nerve damage. Some will argue "it was only a finger tip" but those are the people that don't understand the mental trauma that results from violence like this. 

WB DC HBO, producer Peter Safran has made a statement that he does not care what the fans want and has tried silencing our voices. If our voices are unwanted than so too is our money. 

This is a public call to boycott WB DC HBO productions and services. Pledge to cancel all subscriptions and boycott productions. Fan voices matter. Male domestic violence victims matter.
