When Gerard Way launched his solo career, fans all over the world gathered to support him. They made art, covered his songs, attended his shows, posted videos online, promoted his album, and celebrated his new music. But it quickly became apparent that there was no “official” fan community where everyone could meet. The fandom on most social media sites is scattered, and sites like Twitter or Tumblr don’t provoke long-form discussion. We’re proposing an online community/forum where Gerard Way fans can meet, discuss, share, and interact in a positive environment.

Fans would be able to create profiles on the site, where they can also post their art, share their experiences, talk to other fans, organize meet-ups, etc. Ideally, the community would have rules and moderation to make it a safe place for fans, and keep the good vibes flowing. Essentially, it would be a social and creative hub for Gerard Way fans all over the world.
