I have changed the title of this petition and have tweaked this petition's description because of the amazing announcement that an extended version of "The Iron Giant", which is officially called the Signature Edition version, is being given a limited theatrical release via Fathom Events. This version of the film, of course, will eventually be released on Blu-ray, but before that happens, this version of the film will be given a digital release.
