Grant Douglas Ward (played by Brett Dalton) was killed off in the Season 3 Finale of Agents of Shield. In reality he was killed off not once but twice; three times if you also count his character assassination.

He was first introduced to us in AOS as a lovable Robotic Spy with a Heart. The more we got to know him the more we loved him...until the Hydra Uprising. His character's decent started when where his true loyalties lies was revealed but despite that we all believed that he is still redeemable.

We watched AOS S2 with all the hopes of a redemption arc for our favorite character; unfortunately the writers decided to throw away all of his potential and retconned his backstory (The Well) instead. They called him a bad victim and saying that he deserved it all. They dragged his character through the mud all the while unabashedly baiting and ridiculing his fans.

In Season 3 Finale, the writers FINALLY acknowledged what we've been telling them this whole time; that Grant Ward was brainwashed. But simple admission is NOT ENOUGH when a few minutes later he was killed off.

Which is why we are demanding for TPTB in the AOS series to hear us.

Give Grant Ward a second chance that he's been denied with for so long. Let him live/survive and allow him to redeem himself. 

We know it may seem impossible but this is a television show. A television show that was based on the resurrection of Coulson. And by signing this petition you can show your support not only for Grant Ward's redemption but also for Brett Dalton. Let us show him how much we love him and how much we want him back.

Bring Brett Back! Not as Hive, not as another villain but as the Grant Ward we knew and loved in Season 1.
