30 trees to be felled to make way for 106 units in 3 blocks of up to 6 storeys .. we don't need more blocks of flats being built in Wandsworth !! We are saturated ..
Surrey Lane Estate needs its playgrounds and green space for children and residents to enjoy. Wandsworth council is going to build 4-6 storey private and semi private blocks in Randall Close .  You have a small green space to enjoy as it is!!  The light will be blocked out by the new blocks. Your green space reduced and half separated and gated for the new private residents!! 29  trees will be gone.  This is such a bad deal for the estate that even some of our councillors are concerned and against it. 
These new blocks are of absolutely NO BENEFIT to current residents of Surrey Lane . We must stop this land grab.!

We need our trees they are the lungs of our City . The bigger the tree the more CO2 it absorbs .  

Childrens lungs have been shown they can be stunted by toxic air. 9,400 premature deaths due to toxic air every year.
