Hot Jazz Saturday Night has been a staple of radio in Washington, DC, and surrounding states for 37 years.  And streamed worldwide.  Rob Bamberger's programs, brilliantly researched and curated, are like a beacon in the night: presenting half a century of great music, along with illuminating and entertaining commentary in his inimitable style and voice.  He introduces many people to some of the greatest musicians in our culture: Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Ella Fitzgerald, etc.  There's nothing like his show on the airwaves and it absolutely deserves to continue.

WAMU, PLEASE do not cancel this invaluable show.  If you do, you will lose a lot of listeners and supporters and respect.
