Glades is one of many shows which never saw a Blu-Ray release. It received a DVD release back when show was on Netflix. Regardless of how well the DVDs sold, they may have been significantly better if they had been released at a time when the show was not available on a streaming service. Many people simply do not buy shows on physical media if they can watch it on a streaming service at virtually no additional cost. But when that streaming service drops the show which they have become accustomed to watching, they'll be much more willing to pay for it on physical media. There may also be a number of people who have refrained from buying the DVD set in the hope that there may one day be a Blu-Ray release and to avoid "double-dipping" were that day to arrive. Lastly, even if the first season had been released on Blu-Ray independently of the other seasons, it may not have sold well due to the fear that other seasons may not be released. Some studios have become well-known for declining to release new seasons on Blu-Ray when the first seasons sells poorly. This has caused many consumers - cinephiles in particular -  to be leery of first season Blu-Ray releases. Such studios may only see Blu-Ray sales of complete series sets - as opposed to than first seasons - due to a lack of consumer confidence.
