Release Lie to Me Seasons 2 & 3 on Blu-Ray

The Issue

The first season was released in 2009, but it apparently had lackluster sales. However, it's understandable that sales would have been poor at such a time. There were many things going against a Blu-Ray release in 2009. For starters, many potential buyers had been laid off just one year prior. Even without that hurdle, Blu-Ray players were extremely expensive (i.e. $1,000). Blu-Rays were rather expensive, costing twice what they would today. Lie to Me was also available on cable, satellite and streaming services for years; some, physical media enthusiasts wait to purchase a show on physical media until it's dropped from cable/satellite and streaming services. Also, as we’re well into then HD-to-UHD transition period and prices 4K TVs have been lowered significantly over the last several years, many consumers have upgraded. Due to upscaling, DVDs were fine for many consumers back in the HD time period. However, DVDs may not ben adequate for 4K TVs, especially with larger TVs becoming popular.

2008 is far behind, Blu-Ray players are much more affordable (i.e. $70), recent Playstations (3+ and later) and recent Xboxes (One and beyond) have built-in Blu-Ray players, Lie to Me is no longer available on cable, satellite, and streaming streaming services, and 4K TVs are quickly becoming the norm.
