Dave Filoni is a true hardcore Star Wars fan that can really turn the franchise around. His work on Clone Wars and Rebels have secured him as a fan favorite that can not only produce great stories in new canon but can also honor legends and incorporate that knowledge into new media. This would make older fans happy and newer fans more interested in the new media.
