Bring back Bear In The Big Blue House

The Issue

Bear in the Big Blue House is an American children's television series created by Mitchell Kriegman and produced by Jim Henson Television for Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney preschool television block. Debuting on October 20, 1997, it aired its last episode on April 28, 2006. The show is aimed at teaching lessons to preschool and early school-age children. In each episode, Bear explores learning concepts such as feelings, the alphabet, nature, science and more with the kids of the Big Blue House and/or out in Woodland Valley. Throughout the majority of its run, the program was seen daily on Disney Channel. Currently, it is not broadcast in the United States, but can be seen in some other markets. While many episodes and merchandise have been released, much of its content has been unreleased for many years for unknown reasons (such as the lesser known Breakfast With Bear segments)

Many kids (such as myself) grew up with the show and love to relive those nostalgic days and share them with younger generations. Since many of these episodes remain unreleased, a lot of us want to make sure these forgotten pieces of lost media are restored and see the light of day. As well as remastering the older episodes that have been released as a box set or proper digital streaming release too. In other words, let's welcome a new generation of kids to the Big Blue House and now that you're here, let's begin!!
