Gallagher Estates are planning to build  2000 houses on Green Belt land and fields which lie on the Walsall/Staffs border along the Stafford Road. The development will cover the area between Bloxwich Golf Course and Great Wyrley.

Given the number of house builds that are being planned, the development is likely to cause a significant increase in traffic, as well as decreased air quality. The excess supply of houses in the area will also negatively impact house prices on the Turnberry Estate, Stafford Road, Newtown & Great Wyrley.

We urge local planning to reject the proposals on the basis that the development will cause an unnecessary increase in pollution and traffic to the area.
