Few years ago "Billy Strings" Band graced Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival with one of the greatest shows the festival has ever had. The festival has an old traditional vibe, but with a new reckoning on the horizon. The new generation is ready for more connecting experiences with younger (top listed) acts. We LOVE to dance and enjoy the feeling the music brings us. We're young, and sitting in folding chairs quietly is nothing we want to be a part of. I speak on the entire Pecan Grove population, that we not only want.... But NEED Billy Strings and new younger artists at the festival. For a lot of us, its what we look forward to all year long. From tears on Sunday, to planning all year for the 3rd weekend of September. We need a fresh look at how the festival is planned. If Walnut Valley officials don't start making changes, we could soon see the end of the greatest festival in the world. Please "Bring Billy Back" and lets show him where the heartland of America is.
