I was born in a house downtown Walnut Creek 36 years ago and now my son has just started kindergarten at Murwood elementary. My family and everyone I know lives in Walnut Creek. It is not unreasonable that I ask for some protection from the City Council of my hometown to make it possible for me to live and raise my son in my hometown. The insane rise in rent in the last 5 years is making it almost impossible to stay living here for me and many others.
