Recently, I found all the tanks at my local Walmart to be infested with Ich and parasites. These parasites are spread to anyone who’s tank receives a new fish or snail from this store. Not only was the problem not treat, but there were dead and dying fish in the tanks and the fish were still for sale.

Upon bringing this to attention of the pet salesman, his response was “Yeah, so?” Customer service told me to buy my fish at a pet store.

When we brought this to social media, we found this was not an isolated event, and Walmart has a history for abusing and neglecting their live animal departments.

These are living creatures. This needs to stop.
