Walmart bought the land for their Walmart Express store in Luther, OK. That land was the little league football field. The little league lost their field. They have been using the high school field for the games, but not for practices. They have to pay for this privilege. They also lost the revenue from the concession stand sales on game days. These funds were a large part of how the teams were kept equipped. Walmart should do the right thing and rebuild the field and donate it to Luther Youth Football. It was a slap in the face to all these kids to lose their field and source of revenue only to have the store left vacant after less than a year!
