This petition should be supported because this specific Wal-Mart, like many others, severely understaffs their aquatics department with non-professional workers that can't properly take care of fish and other water animals. I personally have tried to contact management and corporate management about these specific concerns and have had no reply. Freshwater fish, saltwater fish, even crabs of all sorts are not being fed the proper diets or just not being fed at all and left in the small cages they are put in too die with little, to no light and with little, to no human interaction at all.
This petition is groundbreaking for me in the efforts to start shutting down the sale of small animals in Wal-Mart stores across the United States. Our voices need to be heard and I cannot accomplish this feat alone, so please take a couple minutes to sign and pass on to a friend if you feel that animals should be given proper care and maintenance and not be sold in Wal-Mart stores.
