Back when Walmart wrongfully red flag me and I started at Shopko Hometown. I was told by a manager at Shopko Hometown when I was a supervisor that I wasn’t Shopko I was Walmart . Shopko’s assistant managers made me feel miserable since I’d find out dates for them after I pulled them that they’d put back on the shelf and I’d have to repull again. Every day I’d come home from work there I’d be crying cause even the associates under me were going after me and calling me a puppet to the store manager. The store manager liked me there I cashiered, pushed carts inside, done inventory , planograms, watered plants, stocked all over, and binned items there. The department manager (assistant manager) and the two back room managers (assistant managers) they always had to holler at me for no good reason which made me so miserable I’d literally drove home crying and they thought I wasn’t facing good enough. My fellow sales floor supervisor and the apparel specialist (assistant manager) and customer service specialist (supervisor) all were ok with me and saying how good of a job I was doing. The customer service specialist gave me good advice on using a cash register for the first time and what she does which was very helpful for me. The store manager wouldn’t let me write up all four men that were under me for not rotating grocery products like they should because she was afraid they would quit and not give a two week notice. Shopko like Walmart does time every one on how fast you can stock even though they claim you can take your time. Shopko marks down outdated or near outdated groceries and sells them a a discount and the day I left I pulled nine shopping carts full of outdated groceries off their shelves. Shopko has a paper with everyone’s name on saying when to take your 15s and your hour while there were times were I was scheduled for a 15 on that paper and Laura (cashier) went on break and told me a supervisor that I couldn’t go on break because she’s going to break which made me miserable. On April 11,2018 I got told by DHL/Mills Fleet Farm disburtution Center that I got the job and how all three shifts were available and they had me choose one shift so I chose first shift and I waited for an email to accept the job. On Friday they emailed me saying that there is a hold on first shift hiring and to discuss other options, well I can’t work past 11PM so I have to see if I can get a accommodation on hours since they claim to be flexible. Shopko wouldn’t allow supervisors to touch keys to anything.
