They are going to destroy a beautiful natural area which is home to many species that rely on the land to continue to thrive. Destroying this land could lead to the extinction of the Miami tiger beetle, Florida leafwing, the grey bartrams hairstreak. This will also displace many other animals including the bald eagle and the rare bonneted bat. This forest includes 55 different plant species, some of which ONLY EXIST IN THIS NATURAL AREA. 

When we require these resources to live it is vital that we protect them. These developers don’t mind destroying this beautiful land just to put up a big Walmart and LA fitness. Can’t we protect the land and find a different place for these structures that don’t damage our environment and the beautiful creatures living within it.
