Plastic bags are slowly but surely polluting our planet. Only one percent of plastic bags are returned for recycling according to Waste Management. Plastic is destroying our planet. Approximately 100,000 marine creatures die from plastic bags yearly. It takes 500 plus years for plastic bags to degrade in landfill when we only use these bags for about 12 minutes.
