Please read this entire statement. If it takes 1 to 14 days for you to show symptoms and another 5-7 days if you get tested to get results. That can be up to 21 days. Walgreens will make you stay at home once they are told by you that you possibly have the virus due to the symptoms and then Walgreens will pay you up to 14 days once you test positive and only if you test positive. Does anyone see the issue here?

Let me break it down Suzie Smith makes 10.00 per hour she works 37.5 hours a week x 2.weeks then she pays 10% fed tax 6.75% Social security 2.9 Medicare? No insurance she has to chance her health because she can't afford it.

Suzie Smith ( fictional personal) feels sick she knows Walgreens is only going to pay her if she test positive so she sticks it out claiming its allergies , guess what she walkes in and out of a Walgreens store for 2 weeks we kept asking are you ok , "yeah I am fine",  well maybe not in 5 to 7 days we will know if she has virus in the mean time certain parts of the store employees are under home quarantine do you see a problem with this scenario also. Again just a possible scenario.

Walgreens corporate officers who are making these deadly decision wake the hell up, really how many employees lives are you willing to risk?

Let pill pack service your patients until the pandemic is over. The patients and families will think better of your corporation.

Come on coworkers some of us are going to die step up to the plate tell these people they are dead wrong we have no mask, (cost) no safety glasses,(cost) no biohazard uniforms (cost) that you throw away in biohazard containers (cost) But Walgreens wants us to think their waiting on direction from the CDC on what to do. I can tell you a 3rd grader can tell Walgreens what to do.

I say bull shit.

This virus is real do any of you coworkers want to die? (No cost) no life insurance paid for it's an unforeseen pandemic, out of Walgreens control. Don't think because your young it will not happen. Lets say your immune but a carrier and you take it home and it kills mom, dad, brother, or sister. ( none of these deaths would cost Walgreens)
