Shut down Hall green pig farm/ willow farm Wakefield

The Issue

After seeing the footage from the animal rights activists at hall green farm I am completely disgusted and shocked, it’s bad enough that these poor animals are bred to be slaughtered but the little life they have should not be full of abuse and inhuman living conditions, but of dignity and compassion! A quote from one of the brilliant  activists that entered the premises.

”It was like stepping into something from a horror film. The shed was dark and dingy, and the first thing that hit was the stench of ammonia and the stifling heat. That combined with the appalling suffering all around me made me feel like I was either going to pass out or completely disassociate. The farm was putrid and dilapidated, and it was a prison of thousand of innocent, sentient individuals. Row after row of farrowing crates, a device so torturous it exemplifies the darkest facet of human nature.”

Pigs in cages so small they can’t move or nurse their young. Countless dead piglets at various stages of decomposition left in with the mothers, mothers with prolapses and foetuses still attached! Live piglets stuck in the bars in the floor and dirty and dark conditions! When confronted by the activists the farmer retaliated with violence which is no surprise seeing how he treats his animals! It’s the 21st century how this abuse still goes on is crazy. They are sentient gentle creatures and deserve to be treated with respect, love and compassion anything less is just abuse.
