Telkom is quickly getting rid of copper, the Cape Flats will be the last to get fibre, therefore we need to stand together and get fibre in our areas before the switch. This affects everyone in the Cape Flats area. All our upcoming technology students, businesses, internet cafes, our updates needed for all our smart devices, our security. All these situations are affected.

The only solution would be LTE which is horribly expensive to our communities. We need all residents and businesses in the area to stand together before they take advantage of us! 5 Rand a gig or 149 Rand? That's the difference in some cases!

With Lockdown and Corona starring us in the face most of us need to work from home and with LTE we spend a lot of money on data. Our children cannot even do proper research on the internet due to being limited on data constrains.

Getting fibre in our area would make a huge difference, because we would be able to look for jobs online or event start our own businesses.

If we all stand together so much more can be achieved.
