De Verrekijker (DV) is a free and safe space on campus, dedicated to critical education, open political dialogue and the well-being of everyone who feels like coming by. The Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is trying to take this away from all of us. On march the 15th, the VU security unlawfully forced their entry into DV, broke the locks and cut most of the power. With signing this petition we express our support for De Verrekijker in opposition to the VU's decision to evict DV, as well as the methods they are using and we are urging the VU administration to reconsider their position towards De Verrekijker.
