Children should not be allowed to play VRchat, a free-to-play massively multiplayer online virtual reality social platform. There are a lot of untrustworthy users who can prey on them by taking advantage of them sexually or by bullying/antagonizing them. There are also a lot of NSFW (Not Safe For Work) avatars containing full nudity which can be exposed to them, and I have seen examples of this on many occasions. Children are also more often than not a nuisance in this game in general as they have a tendency to harass other players for virtual avatars/skins and quite often cause large disturbances in peaceful lobbies full of adults who are socially networking, and this problem has gotten far worse over the last few years. 

Children should not be allowed to play the game at all until they are at the very least 13 years of age, and a filter should be added by the developers for children making accounts so upon creation they cannot join lobbies with people over the age of 16. Parents should be aware of what their children are playing, as Youtube influencers which are largely responsible in the surge of underage children playing the game do not show the dark side of VRchat which is the previously mentioned amount of people who will take advantage of or bully them, or expose them to NSFW content.

The official age rating of VRchat is for age 13+ plus but there is a remarkable amount of children as young as 7 years old playing the game not knowing what kind of dangers they are imposing on themselves. I am making this petition to have the VRchat developers either create an age filter preventing children from playing in online lobbies full of adults or to have them prevented from the game altogether.
