Concordia College, Moorhead has decided to get rid of the following majors due to “low enrollment”:

Classical Studies
Classics
Latin
Latin Education
French
French Education
German
Health (Health Education, Physical Education, and Exercise Science remain open)
Humanities (the self-standing major)

The following concentration will be closed to new students:

Global Studies - Scandinavian Studies Concentration

All of these programs are beloved by students and alums and families of students and alums because they have given us so much. These departments are part of what makes Concordia the home that it is and the professors of these departments become mentors and friends for life. Also, Concordia is known for it's language programs, and we wonder what will happen to the language villages and Latin Days for high school students, among many others. Please, sign this petition to show that these departments matter and lets see if we can get the administration to realize their mistake.
