The Tasmanian Rock Lobster Fisherman Need your help. After spending the last 2.5 years battling with Covid and the chaos that was created to the Import/Export Market the fisherman are now dealing with an Association President and Chief Executive Officer who do not have their best interests at heart.  Its time for a vote of No Confidence for current President Karl Krause, and his Chief Executive Officer Rene Hidding.

These men in charge, who are meant to be the voice of the fisherman and represent them fairly, are not acting in the best interests of the Tasmanian Fisherman and their livelihoods. 

They are pushing their own agendas forward, looking to increase pots on vessels which will see smaller operations unable to survive. They are failing to speak up and fight for the Fisherman who are getting locked out of zones, earlier and earlier every year. They failed to fight for the fisherman when 10 tonne of quota was removed from the fisherman in February this year. 

These men have interests outside of the Tasmanian Rock Lobster Association and its members, they do not care that this Industry and its workers are suffering and have been struggling. They hold meetings at innopertune times throughout the season, so numbers of attendees will be down and they can tick the meeting off their list, and they simply do not care what the Fisherman have to say. 

Its time to get rid of these 2 men, and replace them with members who care about the future of Rock Lobster Fishing in Tasmania and its fisherman, and their families.
