We believe President Allen and Provost Gibson have acted in the best interest of the student body and the future of the university. President Allen has acted courageously as a leader facing extremely challenging but necessary decisions. A vote of no confidence in President Allen and Provost Gibson is not the answer. The UNI community can work together in the coming weeks to find creative solutions to the hard times ahead. We applaud President Allen and his entire administration for the care, diligence and integrity displayed over the long term as support from our state legislature has decreased. We believe in President Allen. We believe in Provost Gibson. We believe in UNI.
