Vote NO to Bentley House Apartment Project in Reynoldsburg, OH

The Issue

Metro Development wants to build a 120-unit apartment complex with 246 parking spaces on a 9.08 acre site in Reynoldsburg, Ohio WITHOUT IMPROVING THE INFRASTRUCTURE on the critical artery of Waggoner Road between Broad and Main!

The Reynoldsburg City Council Planning Commission intends to grant approval at the February 11 meeting.  If this passes, the apartment complex will further increase traffic congestion, risk lives of bikers/pedestrians (one pedestrian was already struck in December 2018) and increase density with no tangible value to Reynoldsburg Citizens.  The Waggoner Road corridor already supports FOUR schools with heavy bus traffic, THREE major churches, THREE apartment complexes and one condo complex, plus major shopping areas at both ends.  Reynoldsburg already has 5,400 apartments - we do not need more!

Reynoldsburg needs INFRASTRUCTURE before DEVELOPMENT to ensure proper growth, citizen safety, and smooth traffic flow.  While the immediate impact is to the Waggoner Road communities, all citizens may be impacted by poor traffic flow, lack of tangible real income for the community, and lost opportunity to do something better for the entire city.

We are asking all citizens of Reynoldsburg to sign this petition to send a direct and passionate message to the Reynoldsburg City Council:  we will NOT support your re-election if you vote to pass this ill-conceived and unnecessary proposal!
