VOLTEX stands for Vibration-Optimized Low-impact Technology for Energy eXtraction. Our advocacy's goal is to encourage and boost the use of sustainable energy in hopes to lessen the reliance on fossil fuels as our main source of power. We specifically aim to promote use of mechanical energy, specifically vibrations, and turning such into electricity.

How will we do it?
The project will deliver a fully functional transducer out of piezoelectric buzzers that is capable of generating and storing electrical energy from the mechanical energy produced from walking on staircases. Aside from that, technical reports on the energy output such as its energy measurements, cost analysis, and recommendations for large scale application will also be expected to be deliver in this project.
