During this COVID19 crisis, I believe credit card companies should offer interest relief, or even better a moratorium. People are going to rely on their credit cards to get them through this difficult time and it would behoove these companies to be good corporate citizens. These companies make many millions of dollars per quarter and would not suffer too much in this global time if need. Of note is that the Canadian government recently offered a 50 million dollar grant to MasterCard to establish a headquarters in Vancouver.  If the Canadian citizens can be good neighbors to MasterCard then surely they can reciprocate.
